The AIS Thailand Office is announcing an internship available starting November 2011!
The AIS Thailand internship is open to anyone from anywhere, is not funded (raising support is necessary but AIS will help you do this), and will be based in Chiang Mai (although travel outside of Chiang Mai may be frequent). Chiang Mai is a modern city with all the amenities, great internet service, international church community, and good health care available.
· A preliminary visit can be arranged. A couple of women from Japan will come for a few days in November 2010 to learn about our work here and see if the internship is the right fit for them. This can be done for you too.
· The internship is adaptable to the interests of those participating, but can include:
o Professional Sports Ministry including tryout and possible contract with North Chiang Mai Women’s Pro team or Chiang Mai Men’s team
o Schools ministry
o Children’s programs
o Coaching ministry
o Specialized soccer ministry to the marginalized – poverty, refugees, human trafficking victims, tribal groups, etc.
o Office, administrative, publicity/marketing, etc
· There are also staff positions available in the above mentioned areas for those with the necessary qualifications. Interns who successfully complete the program may apply for them.
